We are the Christian Orthodox community, part of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of Thyateira & Great Britain, Ecumenical Patriarchate,  located in Staines and the parish is dedicated to the Holy Epiphany & Saint Andrew the Apostle.

The community was initially founded by the few Greek, Cypriot and Orthodox Christians who initially moved to the United Kingdom to set a new life here and secured their worshipping premises in the chapel located within the cemetery of Englefield Green in Egham.

As the community grew over the recent years, it became necessary to invest on new premises and by the grace of God, and with the paternal love, support, and blessing of His Eminence Archbishop Nikitas of Thyateira and Great Britain, in September 2025, we managed to secure a new place of worship to serve the needs of our rapidly growing parish.

The new church came to us as a timely and much-needed gift, offering the opportunity to establish a spiritual home that can truly welcome our expanding congregation—especially the many young families, the youth and faithful who long to deepen their life in Christ.

We welcome Orthodox Christians from all ethnic backgrounds to join us. We believe in being an integral part of people spiritual, religious and social life and are committed to promoting unity and harmony among all members of our community.

We welcome individuals from any other Christian background and other faiths, to join our services. We believe in fostering a sense of community and inclusivity, and we aim to provide a welcoming and supportive environment for all who wish to explore the Orthodox faith.

Our church serves the Orthodox community in the wider area and Sunday Divine services are celebrated and complemented by additional weekday and evening ones. These are always published on monthly programmes and schedules.

Special events are published on the event page which can be access through this website.

We are also available to celebrate Holy mysteries, these being weddings, baptisms, chrismation funerals and memorials.

We are also in the process to establish our Greek & Sunday schools which will provide an opportunity for the advancement of faith and Greek language and culture.

The daily activities and operation of the church are undertaken and coordinated by the committee in collaboration with the priest of the church.
